I want to change the term "ADHD". I don't like it; I don't think it's a helpful thing to keep saying.

My mom keeps saying "but you weren't hyperactive as a child" and

look I love my ma, big time, and she is a great, great person, very kind and a very good ma,

but I need for that to not happen to younger folks; I need this understanding I've been gifted with from neurodivergent discussions to translate into a better environment for kids who have the neurology. I need the relatable tweets to describe the past, not the future.

my old hunter brain kicks in when I'm trying to catch that fucking fly that someone got into the house. Like I'm slightly henchd forwards and suddenly my attention span expands from 3secs to however long I'm stalking my prey. My eyes are sharp, my reflexes cat like, my food untouched.
