Hello listeners and welcome to the StarLight podcast.

It is the second of November and the stations resident feline, Lime, has not dropped a dead deer mouse on top of the in box for 7 days, a new record. In celebration for this event the office manager has allowed the cat to take the rest of the day off from work. Strangely enough Lime is still here, though it is looking quite pleased from it’s resting spot on the ceiling.

Today a new face arrived in out little town of Starlight. She calls herself ‘Annabelle Green’ and has taken to trying to figure out the ‘strange’ happenings in our community. I am still quite confused by her words. After all, nothing strange ever happens in our quiet little town. That would make us different.

The outside isn’t kind to things that are different.

The outside is not kind.

And now the weather.

The star above blackout tower is glowing brightly as usual. Residents living near the star have reported that it has started letting out a strange sound for a few days now. Local officials ask that you try and converse with the star as they are curious to see what would happen. I can not personally recommend this course of action as the last report of a living creature approaching the star shows that they have not stopped screaming since. While i can understand needing to get something off your chest we ask that you keep your exclamations of joy, and or pain, to a minimum so as not to disturb your neighbors.

Good evening listeners and welcome to the starlight podcast, it’s the third of November and the local star above the blackout tower is shining brightly today.

Recently there has been an increase in accidents regarding the glowing river. Our local water guild has asked me to remind you all not to throw your cats into the glowing river as it does not like losing it’s shimmer to a creature that clearly does not appreciate it’s new shiny coat. For those if you that are new to our little town i feel it is important for you to know that the glowing river will change colors if you throw enough blood into it. While this is surly a spectacle to witness please keep in mind to use your own blood, and not that of the children in the nearby school as it greatly upsets their parents.

In other news a new line of fireproof brooms have been released by today's sponsor; Autumn Airs. Currently the most popular model allows the rider to travel at least 10 meters a second without even being on the broom as long as they jump from high enough. Autumn Airs would like me to remind you that while the brooms themselves are fireproof you, the rider, are likely not and ask that you do use your broom to ride through fire, as your burnt flesh could be hard to remove from the polished wood.

And now the weather.

In retaliation for upsetting the local glowing river the water guild has started a harsh downpour. It is recommended that any person that is made of, or partially made of, lava stay inside as the last rain caused many obsidian statues to form. These statues held a remarkable resemblance to previous magma based humanoids who, incidentally, have not been seen since.
