Not a single person here is talking about Hunter Echo (a tiktok person I think?) bragging about having sex with Millie Bobby Brown when she was 16 and he was 20, him and his sister and friends literally bragging “that child knew how to suck dick” (word for word what they said!)… Like that is child grooming and the fact that her parents KNEW this was going on and let him live with them for 8 months…

Just say you don’t actually care about protecting children from grooming and abuse, and go.

EDIT: a few people have flagged that this post implies that I think that people not talking about = they don’t care, which was not my intention at all. I didn’t think when I wrote the post, I was very frustrated and angry because I work with kids and the whole situation was appalling to me because it seemed that no one cared. I didn’t factor in a) time zone differences would mean people seeing it at different times or b) that some people might not actually want to talk about it openly because they’re traumatized by their own experiences etc. And then, some people may not want to post anything publicly but will do the necessary things by contacting the right authorities/taking action but not broadcasting it. Whatever the reason (or even if there’s no reason), then I understand. Again, I apologize - I didn’t mean to imply that people must post about something in order to show they care or anything like that.
