“I, I will be king
And you, you will be queen
Though nothing will drive them away
We can be Heroes, just for one day
We can be us, just for one day…”
Though it was one of his favorite songs, Remus couldn't find the strength to smile.
His whole life was shit, falling apart and dragging him along.
With each day it was harder and harder to find the string that was holding him in this world. Not even his revenge was strong enough to make him hold onto it.
Town after town Remus has been getting rid of supernatural shit, and only a few weeks ago he found those who ruined his life. They weren't usual werewolfs you can meet in town or even in a big city. They were savage, forest their home and humans their dinner.
Remus started to think that after all those years it was impossible to track them down, they were the best for a reason. But Remus wasn't weak himself. Years of unstoppable huntings, pain and suffering from the loss of his parents only added to his strength, making him almost an unstoppable machine for killing. His father made sure to train him well.
After Remus was bitten and his parents needed to deal with a five years old werewolf this whole thing began. Constant moving from one place to the other, home schooling and miserable full moons.
Grayback, the werewolf who had bitten him and then took his parents' lives away as well, now was rotting in the field not far away from Grimmauld Town where Remus settled for his new hunt.
Never in his life Remus felt better as when ripping the whole life out of the nasty bastard.
But now, not even the thought of it warmed his being. Yes, he was dead, but so were his parents.
That's why he decided to continue, to get this world rid of as many supernatural creatures as it was possible for a single man.
But now, sitting in a cheap bar full of town people, Remus couldn’t get rid of the thought that his life had more and more cracks in it, barely holding him together.
His new target was a bunch of vampires, who lived somewhere in the Grimmauld Town, a small town full of old houses and weird people, who currently were eyeing him suspiciously. That place wasn’t mentioned in any maps, and was almost impossible to find.
But he should thank dead werewolves for that. They were careless enough to mention the place in one conversation, giving Remus his new targets.
His empty stomach hurt from the strong alcohol he almost finished. A dimly lit bar was one of the places where in the evening you will find almost all of the town’s people, sitting there, chatting or drinking alone as Remus has been doing.
The first few days there, he was the main topic in all conversations: a tall, handsome and terrifying mysterious man appeared in the Grimmauld Town out of nowhere, and has been staying for a week now.
He genuinely thought he wouldn't be so noticeable, but whispers and glances were too obvious to ignore.
Places like such are not very welcome to visitors. Let alone hunters. That’s why he used a different name and never had a longer conversation than it was necessary.
Up until now, no one had the strength to approach him. And Remus was really surprised to hear a high and melodic voice sound so close to him.
When he turned around he was met with the most stunning gray eyes, so deep and shiny he almost drowned in them. The young man, obviously younger than Remus, gave him a shy smile before slipping to the stoll right next to his...

There's something I've been writing for a while, and thought about sharing a piece of it with you. The story was sitting in my head for a while now, so I'll let it breath here for a little, and not dust in my drafts.
Let me know what you think then maybe I'll have enough courage to finish this baby😉
