She had honestly started to think that Hunter had no intentions of taking her out on a date when a couple of weeks went by without her talking to Amelia's teacher. She had almost been ready to delete his number from her phone but then her classes had been hitting her pretty hard and she was struggling to keep an eye on all of her siblings and their respective lives, what with all their relationship dramas, and she needed a break. Before she knew what she was doing, she had texted Hunter, asking about their first date, and he had quickly asked her out for later that day.
After her morning class at school, she had driven straight over to the pizza place that Hunter told her about, a small smile teasing at her lips as she pulls into the car park and heads into the restaurant. Her heart is thumping loudly in her chest and her hands are a little clammy but she's excited too. She hasn't been on a first date in years, not since high school actually, and she can't remember ever feeling so giddy before. In high school, it was just something that she felt like she had to do to fit in but this date with Hunter is actually something she wants to do. Her smile broadens when she sees the high school teacher sitting at one of the booths and she crosses over to him. "Hey there, Watson", she says as she slides into the booth across from him.
