Walls Could Talk || Grunter
Grace spent a lot of time in bed lately, it just hurt to move too much, so she always ended up laying in bed, staring at walls. She was kind of surprised Hunter wanted to see her, she hadn’t expected him to want anything to do with her after what happened at prom. Her mom had basically put Grace under lock and key, but she knew her mom liked Hunter and she’d let him right in. Hearing the front door open and Hunter’s voice, she sat up slowly, moving herself to sit on the edge of her bed. Her bedroom door opened and she looked up to see Hunter. A sigh rushed from her lips and her shoulders relaxed, surprising herself at how glad she was to see him. A smile crept onto her lips, though she wasn’t sure what to say right then, “Uh hey, thanks for coming over and seeing me. I’ve kind of felt like a prisoner in this room.” She smirked, letting out a half hearted laugh. Her eyes had drifted to the floor, so she brought them back up to look at him, feeling comforted by the safety she felt with him around.
