5 similarities between Christophe Gans’ “Le Pacte des Loups” (Brotherhood of the Wolf, 2001) & Miyazaki, Hidetaka’s “Bloodborne” (PS4, 2015): 1) Both the film and video game involve highly skilled Hunters tasked with slaying Beasts, utilizing what resources and weapons they have at their disposal. 2) Costumes, building structures, certain environments, and Hunters’ getups are near identical. 3) The Beasts from both the film and game are terrifyingly grotesque as they are strangely sad, in a pitiful manner.
