regal  crown  traded  for  towel  .   despite her drive and focus on intelligence she still liked to preen .  what pretty girl didn’t like such a thing ?  beautiful brown skin still damp ,  steam hovering in the air when she notices him standing in the hallway ;  must have slipped in while she was showering .  gasp dies quickly as initial shock and embarrassment fades into playful curiosity .  faint impulse grows quickly as fingers fuss with the top of the towel preserving her modesty.  ❝  sam  ?   what are you doing here . . .  ?  ❞   she plays coy despite the look in her eye and the grin on her lips ;  it’s clear she knows she won’t be in that towel for much longer.
