it could have been all so much easier --- without the necessary spells conjuring themselves as commanded, fantasia was useless to him. with these injuries from the zombie invasion still hindering his movements, he felt useless. yet, despite what he considered to be minor hardships were put to the test in a secluded area of the cherry blossom park. where the petals still danced in the night’s breeze and with the sways of his movements, illuminated by glowing lanterns.
seth punches and kicks the air in timed intervals, shadowboxing with an invisible opponent. the time in this city had stumped his training with that old sorcerer and now as a contestant in a ring of fighters, there was no better time. he needed to be in top shape and form; regardless of what he could mold from magic or if wounds would reopen again.
a figure in the darkness, however, catches his immediate attention. he huffs as he wipes away the beads of sweat on his forehead, eyes trained at what seemed to be a stranger. yet, from the way the light reflects off their form, there could only be one individual fitting ---
“ oi --- big fluffy lady ! ” he recalls the time they had spent together, battered and torn against a horde of the undead. she had held up amazingly then, despite her state at the time. he admired her brute strength and size --- which would make the other a perfect sparring partner. “ i need you to fight me, right now ! ”
