Hurricane Iselle's damage to Big Island.

This shit right here is crazy.  

On Thursday (8/7/2014) Hurricane Iselle was on a direct path over the Big Island of Hawaii.  This day will go down in history as this was the first time a Hurricane would encounter two large mountain (Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa) and no one knew how this would affect the outcome.  The mountains were able to hold Hurricane Iselle back allowing it to downgrade to a Strong Tropical Storm as it moved over the Big Island.  However, as the storm was stalled out in the ocean the east side of the island took a beating.

This video shows a small portion of the damage the island received from Iselle.  Majority of this video is taken out in Kapaho, Pahoa, and Puna districts of Hawaii.  The house at 1:53 is our family friends beach house.  My family used to rent this beach house every summer and to see the house like this is devastating.  Many of those roads covered in trees lead to my friends houses.  It has been over 4 days and there are still over 9,000 homes without electricity.  Some being told they may not have electricity for another 1-2 weeks.

So I stay chillin with my friend at her house and all these flying cockroaches start coming right after me. Counted 17. Anybody who know me knows I'm like a target to these fakas.
