There was no denying the inherent awkwardness of this situation, but it wasn’t so bad that Joey wasn’t willing to work through it. It was for a good cause anyway. She’d invited Dean over to her apartment since she lived alone and it made significantly more sense for them to do this here instead of at his place. “Okay, so, um, I guess we should kiss,” she pointed out as they both sat on her bed facing each other, feeling a bit out of her element being the more experienced one in this situation, but attempting to work through it anyway. “Which, frankly, feels a little too intimate, but it’s a little awkward to do one without the other so, yeah, I should just shut up now,” she rambled for a moment before decidedly dropping her inhibitions and leaning forward to kiss him.

    sitting on the stool behind the cash register counter, eyes were downcast, hands putting together a corsage for a customer. it was prom season and orders for the flower shop came in in SWARMS. great for business though. honey was gluing down a second gardenia on top of the baby’s breath when she looked up in time to see her ex-boyfriend approaching, brows furrowing. “aksel, what do you want?” she studied the shop’s environment quickly, hoping her moms weren’t around; they were big fans of his and were upset when their daughter broke things off with him; at the same time they understood, since her secret wasn’t something to take lightly, nor play around with.

“Peter!” Zoey giggled as he was holding onto her hands as the two of them waddled into the nursery to see how Dustin was coming along with assembling baby crib no.2. “Hi daddy.” Their little man was repeatedly exclaiming ‘dada! dada!’ to which Zoey beamed because he was so advanced for a little one year old. “Yeah, daddy’s building your sisters crib.” She teased her husband as her pregnant bump was on full display now. “Or well...hm..” She looked at all the pieces and Peter let go of her hands to go and bump into his daddy and she giggled. “Peter, ah, ah, ah.. don’t touch daddy’s tools.” She scolded lightly and Peter just beamed before burying his little face against Dustin’s arm. “The dresser looks great.” She praised her husband. “I would help but...I’m keeping this little monster busy.”

she was used to apologizing for tybalt. she knows he’ll never do it himself. he had too much pride for himself. sometimes that confidence was too arrogant for her. but it didn’t mean that the other person deserved any of it. usually, he apologized later to juliet, as if she was the one at the other end, but that was it. but she knew they deserved an apology. “i’m really sorry about my cousin. he can be a little...much sometimes and he can get carried away with it.” she loved tybalt, they were family after all. she just wished he had a filter. the last thing she wanted was for him to scare anyone away. she didn’t have many friends as it was. “if you want, we can go back inside, maybe sneak some food from the kitchen up to my room.” no one would bother them, juliet would make sure of it.

this made me wonder a lot of things about plots we never actually did like uh remember when we talked for like months about how victoire and thomas were gonna interact and now we still havent even used either character???
