I have cramps and I have also been expecting a call from a very large publisher you have definitely heard of but they're not calling back and I'm worried they went in a different direction and today is not the day I thought it was going to be :(

I'm losing followers on every single platform and I am jealous of my friends' kids cartoons on facebook and I'm not sure what I'm doing with my life anymore

being an illustrator is the best it is so fun especially the part where you have to keep drawing even when you feel like you are terrible at drawing and hate everything you're doing A+++ best job ever

Whoops I accidentally got a part-time job today. For tax reasons, a company I was contracting for hired me officially. Just 10 hours a week so I can still do art and illustration as planned, but now I have a guaranteed income per week which takes some of the pressure off. Yay!

Ahahahaha I am trying to fill out Business license apps and sellers permit apps and I am so lost. I'm a real, bona-fide adult and people much younger than me figure this stuff out what the hell is my problem.

It is now midnight I have been so productive today on work that will not pay me immediately because I have been procrastinating on actual billable hours.

This whole self-employment thing is going to go real well if I keep this up. -_-

Executive Director: You said we have time after the 15th to make this important decision

Me: I said we have to make the decision and have the paperwork for this important decision submitted BY the 15th.

Me (in my head): remembering what I said in a way that would be more convenient does not actually change the nature of what needs to be done. Blaming me only makes me want to quit immediately instead of waiting until my job evaporates.

I will not be made to feel guilty for refusing to do unpaid work while we're technically laid off. I will not.
