2 years ago my family and I set on a life changing journey where we left behind everything for me to finish two degrees. This last week I received my “degree.” To me, this mean nuttin as I never needed a degree to be successful as a musician. The paper means nada cause it don’t say nuttin bout me. Its whats behind this paper. Its my team, my family that hustled to make this achievement. Their sacrifices. My boys who left their childhood memories growing up with their grandparents, cousins, friends, school. My kids who would cry and asked why daddy needed to leave everyday. My wife @anngybel_o who held strong fort at home, who hustled 3 boys teaching them to be men, maintaining home, who was patient, perseverant, brave, and whose number one concern was that everyone around her was happy. And she did all this while training and studying. The only thing i did was meet deadlines and write papers, they the real deal. To them, this achievement, they earned it.
