     “  Yes! And-you’re-buying-the-coffee  !!  “

      Her reply was swift.. of course she wanted to take a break instead of writing       out tickets all day. This job was straining as all hell… and it didn’t really help      anyone.. other than making them angry.

      Still, she had also taken the chance to turn the offer around.

     “  Aaaaawwwww~  how sweet of you, Nick! Paying for us both..~ “

       Though... just in case he was going to do that, she wrapped her arms         around the canine the best she could, smirking up at the predator.

        After a while of meeting gazes with one another, she spoke again.

       “  Okay.. I didn’t throw it out...                      I just... can’t seem to find where I left it.  “

◘ - Another day, another job well done. Exhausting? Yes... as always, it surely had been.       All for the greater good though, nothing she would throw a fit over. If that were the       case, she would have been out of this job since the first day she was put on parking duty.        Those days had long passed, for both Nick and Judy that was. The two highest         ranked officers in the ZPD, at least as far as two-man missions went.

        As of now, work would have to wait. No matter how eventful the day had been,          .. and it had been eventful... when Bogo lets you go home for the day,           you better take the chance. She knew she would need the rest for tomorrow.

          In the mean time, she was as always working to tease the fox into a bit           of competition, even after work hours. He was still better at it than she was...            but if she takes the first shot, maybe she could gain the upper paw.

           Before heading to the females changing rooms, she placed a paw on the fox’s             chest, grinning widely. “Hold it, fox~” She said through a smug tone,            turning around to reflect the same smugness in the form of a smirk. 

           “You may have caught him, but I got him to confess...               I think that means you’re making our midnight dinner tonight~”

           Would it go home? She wasn’t sure... but she would be happy to fight for it!

◘ - The bunny sat in utter shock at the result she had seen reflecting on the test.        She was racing with emotions, ranging from nervous, overjoyed to terrified...       ... how could this have worked? Had she been together with another bunny,        this would have been more than expected, seeing how often her and Nick       got busy with each other... but a fox and a bunny..?

      That strange fact only came secondary to the realization of their future.         They wouldn’t be two.. but three... and she would have to adjust to being..       ... and so early.. without preperation... and she had to tell her parents....

          ..............

       She buried her face in her paws, head shaking from side to side to try and          shake some form of sense into herself and figure this situation out.        At least she knew Nick would be supportive... he always was... but she would           have to break the news as soon as he got back home. Waiting for this        was only more nerve-breaking in her case. She wanted to just tell him            right here and now... but doing it through a phone-call was not gonna        happen, and god no over text. It needed to happen eye to eye.

       An ear twitched and directed itself to the door. She could easily hear familiar             footsteps coming up the stairs. Nick was coming up. A few deep breaths         went in and out slowly, a padless paw left on her chest as she did so.

        As soon as she heard the door open, her face turned. Ears fell back down              onto the back of her head as she gazed up to her vulpine mate.

        “Could you... sit down...?”
