So first let’s cover everybody’s reactions:

Paku was considerate about your feelings but also said loving the chain user is a no no, and you guys talked about it.

Machi lightly scoffed and walked away

Shizuku was just kinda standing there like “:0″ for a good couple minutes then finally spoke “Oh no y/n that’s not good he’s one of our targets!”

Shalnark had an “oop” moment then said that he’ll still hang around you but if he gets ordered to track down the chain user and kill him he won’t be able to make any exceptions for you and your feelings.

Uvogin and Phinks thought you were kidding, and when you told them you weren’t they just left the room, no context.

And just about everybody else just walked off either muttering to themselves or silently walking away from you.

You and her got permission from the boss to leave work for about 2-3 days out of the week and do what Paku called “rehabilitation for your heart” which was basically getting you to stop loving Kurapika

And for a while it worked, but every time you would see a picture of him or occasionally hear his name the feelings would come back again

So pakunoda had one last idea in mind, and it would either go good or really, REALLY BAD.

You had to confess to Kurapika to have closure.

So you, Paku, Shizuku and Shalnaek tracked him down, and you told him you had something to tell him, which he was confused about but accepted.

So later that night you spilled to him about all of your feelings, leaving out the part that you were a spider, and he was completely dumbfounded, even more so because once you were done you just took off running.

You were sad that you couldn’t be with him but had closure, and as a little congratulation the four of you went to an ice cream parlor and got the biggest sunday they had, not paying of course.

In the end your family helped you, and although deep down you still had feelings for him you knew your family mattered more and they always came first.

little killua’s this bright!! happy!! baby but gotoh knows what’s coming for him (i mean, he’s got to have been working with the zoldycks for years before they let him take care of a baby right) and he’s seen what’s happened to illumi and milluki but he never has the heart to tell killua that as fucking horrible as his family is, the world out there is even worse

but killua likes coins!! and he likes gotoh’s coin games!! because they play together sometimes and gotoh’s always lowkey training his hand-eye coordination. so one day he tricks killua with the switch, and it’s the first time in kil’s goddamn life that gotoh’s ever betrayed him like this?? of all the people in the world who’d lie to him, he never expected it from gotoh??

gotoh apologizes, and killua’s pretty much the only person in the family he’d ever pull this with anyway because he loves the kid but coming from meteor city, he wants to like, yknow, somehow warn this baby that the world isn’t going to be kind, and the people he trusts aren’t always worth trusting

killua knows gotoh HATES tricks and underhanded stuff like this, and gotoh’s always the one patching him up and supporting him when the training gets real bad, so he listens up

(also: the zoldycks keep their head butler away from alluka because they don’t wanna risk losing him, but he’s always respectful & affectionate when he supervises killua & her playing, which means killua trusts him completely)

(gotoh & canary are both from meteor city actually?? do they come up together or does gotoh go back for her? does she come to find him herself? ‘we reject no one, so take no one from us’-- he’s probably suppressing that murderous HOW DARE YOU TAKE SOMEONE FROM ME urge every time killua leaves the estate LMFAO)

(but also seeing killua accepted & valued by his new friends & seeing how much killua cares for them, don’t gon and leorio and kurapika become part of his range of ‘care’ as well...)
