In a month, i’ll be turning 30. In those three decades of existence, i have a lot of lessons in life that i’m gonna need for sure in the next 10 years. One of which is to choose which battle to take on. There is more to life than just proving you’re right. And even if you’re right, your enemies will just drag you to go down their level and beat you with their experience. Life is too short to be spent on fighting and fighting, not to mention that life is even shorter now for some because of COVID19. Just because i don’t take sides does not mean i care less about our country. It’s just that i’d rather be in a position where i could be more useful - bring good vibes and lend a hand! You see that mask your wearing? It does not only serve as a protection against the virus, it also serves a a reminder to keep your mouth shut when you have nothing good/helpful to utter. What we need now is to work together as one nation, regardless of our backgrounds. Let us set aside our personal/political boundaries. Because at the end of the day, we are all Filipinos and we are all just gonna be wipes out from our own history if we don’t do something about it now. Besides, you won’t be remembered as someone who proved a point but perhaps someone who could help but just didn’t. If you want that, then carry on and use your brain cells posting your thoughts that have consumed you all this time. If you get my point, join me in doing what this world needs.
