after she gets kicked out of her house in michigan, she goes down to colorado to stay with byron (who she met online). she meets felicity there since she lives with byron and they quickly become friends! felicity invites bailey to their next show and then backstage after!
on her grudge against mayo: it's mostly a jealousy thing! her first impression of mayo was from what's shared about her on the band's socials, so she only saw highly curated glimpses into mayo's seemingly perfect life. it got more extreme after actually meeting her because she realized how similar they actually are but how different their lives turned out to be. when they met, mayo could sense hostility and tension from bailey (& had already heard she was very close with byron, who she is NOT cool with) and met that with provocation. from there it kinda started a blow for blow thing where they both have a "but she started it!" stance and don't want to be the first one to back down. maybe if they were more trusting they could build a real friendship, but neither wants to recognize that or change enough to make that happen
