Herts Open Studios

Last year I took part in Herts Open Studios for the first time and enjoyed it so much I decided this year to take part again… bigger and better…

I have teamed up with two fabulous artists, Lucy Sugden and Paul Hillary. Lucy works delicate textile flowers, weaving filament on looms creating art which is inspired by her beautiful garden. Paul is an abstract artists with striking art full of emotion, movement and colour, and I am showing a mix of landscape, floral and fun brusho work.

We are at the Herts MS Therapy Centre in Letchworth for most of September, closed only on Sundays. Have-A-Go sessions are available - just drop in and pay £5 for materials which gives you half an hour of playtime. 2 hour workshops can be pre-booked, and there is cake too…

Alumni, Gill Ayre is looking forward to showing her new work at the Herts Affordable Art Fair in the Sun Hotel in Hitchin from Friday 28th July – Sunday 30th July. It will open with a Private View on Friday at 7pm, and is then open 10am – 5pm on Saturday, and 10am – 4pm on Sunday.
