.. In response to @hvnarose.
she closed her eyes for a brief moment, and took a deep breath. he was the last person she wanted to speak to at the moment, and considering the fact that he was so persistent with addressing a subject that she did not want to bring up was only making matters worst. she turn her head to look behind her, it was her peripheral that caught his face within her gaze. slowly turning back to face what was in front of her, she brushes her fingers through her hair, letting a sigh escape her lips.
&& * ❝ what is there to talk about? everything has been said, and done right? ” she spoke with a hint of desperation in her voice. she didn’t want to be here, she didn’t want to face with the reality of having to speak with the older male upon unwanted matters. “ haven’t you done enough ? ” she had finally turned to face him, her expression graced upon her face was that of an unpleasant expression. she was one to forgive anyone, but if you were to cross her the wrong way chances would be slim, and it would be a situation such as this one. though, seeing as the male wouldn’t let her be she considered an option that would give her a reason to actually speak to him.
“ was it true then… ? ” she started off with the question that she wanted to know. she had heard a lot of talk come back to her about the male. it wasn’t like him to consider going behind her back, right? the thought of it hurt as she had considered the male a friend. “ what people were saying… if you can tell me that, i’ll consider talking to you, rather than avoiding you. ”
Annoyance was plastered along his features, Matthew had never been great at dealing with uncomfortable situations like these-- let stand when they revolved around feelings and the expressing of those. The entire situation at hand was all too confusing for him to begin with, he had tried to grasp the problem but didn’t seem to get it? Perhaps people had been speaking for him, perhaps she’d picked up the wrong things at the wrong time, nonetheless he couldn’t seem to understand her anger towards him. The moment he had spotted her weird behavior, he had attempted to get her to talk to him. He may not have been great at speaking his own feelings but listening to other people was something he was good at. This also because he would tend to not cut them off.. most of it being due to the fact he never knew what to say anyway.
Trailing after the shorter female, he just lingered his presence there. ‘Was what true? You gotta tell me what the fuck is going on before you start accusing me of shit and start walking away from me?’ He told her, arms now finally crossing along his chest. How annoying. ‘What were people saying and what does that have to do with me?’ Perhaps she’d heard something, with the little things he could pick up here and there he figured that someone must’ve said something about him in relation to her, for her to be so upset. Unfortunately, he couldn’t read her mind and figure it out exactly but whatever it was, he was convinced it was some made up bullshit. At least if it was negative. He wasn’t the type to go behind people’s backs anyway.
