Finally A Normal Reunion|Closed RP|
It had been about four months since the bio-terror attacks on Tall Oaks, Edonia and China, the triple whammy and a devastating one. All the damage done, all the lives lost. Leon and his partner in the DSO Helena Harper had tracked down the man who caused it all, former security director Derek C. Simmons who had been betrayed by his own family and became a huge shape shifting abomination after getting shot with his own virus. A rightful end to a monster of a man. Although it was all over and done with, the world wouldn’t fully be able to recover from this for at least three to four years. Would this peace last a while? he doubted it, madmen never slept or took days off, any day another maniac come do something with Bio-weapons and then another damn shit storm all over again.
Regardless, Leon wanted to take any time he could to just kick back a little, he was a determined person and would continue fighting just as he had been doing all these years since that one stormy night in Raccoon City, but that seemed so far away now, like a distant and faded memory gone with the flow of time as life moves on trying to resume as normally as it could before another psychopath comes through with some new deadlier virus, no, after everything he had been through, he needed a break. Maybe he’d actually get to enjoy a vacation for a change? Yeah right, knowing his luck, he’d likely get about a month or two, but he hoped for longer. Especially with who once again came out of the Shadows. Ada. Like she always did, but once again, she was gone just like that, how much longer could he wait? Seeing her again was bittersweet at best, as he knew deep down inside his mind that she would be gone again for who the hell knew how long.
In good need of a way to clear his heavy mind, he decided to go for a walk to a nearby cafe, maybe some time outside of his hotel would do him some good. Here he was sitting outside under the umbrella of a table, at least it was a nice day out. Enjoying himself to an ice coffee reading the newspaper, he would glance up to check the time, but before reaching his phone, he would stop at the sight of a familiar face. It was Claire, he hadn’t seen Claire in a very long time, last he had been in touch, he heard she had gotten herself into a rather unfortunate situation at the raid of the TerraSave, overall, he was glad she made it, but she was a survivor just like him, he knew she’d pull through. Leon would give a wave, this would be the first time they had met since the Harvardville airport incident, finally meeting in a normal setting.
[{☣}] - “Hey Claire!” He would wave her over to him.
[{☣}] - “You’re a sight for sore eyes, about time we met in a more normal setting.”
