#hwy50 done the G & H way: Day 1: ▪️We stopped to see what was happening in #hazen these days ( pre fire) ▪️Braved the 104 degree heat so we could immerse ourselves in the amazing Nevada history of #grimespoint ▪️Trotted on into #sandstation (the best preserved #ponyexpress Station in Nevada) ▪️Got our lunch on in #middlegate ▪️Finished it all off by tracking the #desatoya Mountains though an ever narrowing canyon full of stinging nettles, snakes, mountain lions and thorn bushes to gaze upon the only continuous water fall in the Nevada Desert. ▪️▪️▪️ Oh yeah, then there was the sunset! #nevada #nevadahistory #mapadventures #creativecartography #harmonyheywood #travelnevada #nevadadesert #nevadamap #nevadamagazine #exploremore https://www.instagram.com/p/CiUlhGgO4ow/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
