Nick and the apology

leafty didn’t have another choice but to apologize. i do think he meant it but i think this drama is way too overrated and if nick thought it was that bad he just shouldt have let leafy use him multiple times. now nick knows a lot of people think he’s a 100% right and he’s just taking advantage of that now. everyone is attacking leafy and nick should just accept his apology and move on and let everyone else too bc he’s at fault too and it just shouldnt be this big of a problem.

My gods honest opinion on the situation right now:

If what HWYM is true, then Leafy did fuck up, okay. It’s not the first time, Leafy fucks up a lot. As do a lot of people. But I also think that the fandom is trying to direct their attention from leafy and transfer it to HWYM. I’m currently taking a psychology class and we’re studying defense mechanisms- one of those defense mechanisms is called intellectualization. Basically it means that whenever something is giving us anxiety/bad feelings, we focus on something else instead of the thing that’s giving us those bad feelings. I believe that this is what some of the fandom is doing; they’re focusing on HWYM and not Leafy. Yes HWYM might not be telling the truth or he might just be playing it up, but I really didn’t see all that much fault on him. (Yes I even saw the Twitter screenies and such but really when you’re mad at someone you get angry and suddenly everything clouding them is bad & don’t even say you’re not at fault for it because nearly almost everyone is, we’re humans) Leafy on the other hand, (once again, if what HWYM says is true) he’s in some deep shit. I love the boy, he’ll always be precious to me, but sometimes you just have to tell someone they fucked up, they fucked up real bad. Don’t try and make the other person out to be bad just because they told you things you don’t want to be true about someone.
