Sorry for the delay, but it’s finally here!!! This is my submission for the @hxhbigbang2020 😆🎉🎉

This is for @kiwizoom’s fic titled “Leorio goes to RadioShack” !!! <3<3

It’s a fun fic set in 1999 where the main four (plus the spiders) go to the mall and hijinks occur. This is the scene right before they split up to have their own adventures. It’s currently uploading weekly on AO3 and it comes with awesome banners!

Deep in the forests of Lukso Province is Kurapika, the former head of the Nostrade crime family. With the Kakin Empire in shambles, it's inevitable that the three personalities meet. Together, they realize that there's a lot more at stake than just a few ballet numbers and free tickets to the theater. Their world may have moved on from a sunken ship and hybrid ant people, but something else hasn't. It's a feeling that tells them that even though their world has forgotten, the Dark Continent has not – and that the monster that destroyed the ship may just be hunting down its survivors.

Here’s my fic for the hxhbb2020. @hxhbigbang2020

Summary: All things must die. Leorio’s work was devoted to postponing it as long as possible, but some things death just didn’t let slide, wasn’t supposed to let slide. His newest patient is beautiful as he is unsettling, with a sharp tongue, a mind stuck in the past, and a talent for evading the one certainty in life. The strange man soon checks himself out of the hospital, mere days after Leorio had mended his wounds, with a level finality that leaves him believing their shaky friendship had come to a close. They meet once more at the local library, and when Leorio offers the man a place in his rundown apartment, he thinks nothing of the consequences. Quietly, attachment plants its seeds, and Leorio finds himself caught in a web that puts everything he’s ever known into question. The involvement of one Chrollo Lucilfer, his old college buddy, now a man entirely devoted to science, throws his life into further disarray, as their lives unravel to reveal some hideous realities.

One of the pieces I drew for @hxhbigbang2020 for That Which Waits by @bugtongue (if you’re a fan of  KrKr, Southern Gothic, Supernatural elements in beautifully written prose, or any combination of all of those then you should absolutely read it!! Not to mention the absolute banger of an accompanying Spotify playlist that I’ve had on repeat for the past week or so)

I had something else sketched out to begin with but knew I wanted to illustrate something from this scene as soon as I started reading it
