It was raining, what a nostalgic feeling. Strange feeling knowing that it’d been 7 years since he was on this very balcony, bleeding and fleeing from the law, and now he was lounging on the railing as if he owned the place and his company was fully expected. It wasn’t, which would make this all the more amusing. Nezumi’s history with theatrics was showing through without a doubt. The robotic mouse was perched on his shoulder, note in its mouth, ready to go do what Nezumi needed it to. There were other, easier ways that he could go about doing this, but the noir wasn’t exactly one to just waltz up and knock on the front door for a teary reunion with the boy he was so drawn to all those years ago. No, that wasn’t his style. Nezumi was still one to be hiding in the shadows, keeping to himself and minding his own business.
Which is exactly why he’d been gone for the past seven years after he and Sion successfully destroyed the correctional facility. Why Sion hadn’t seen eye nor ear of him after the kiss and the promise they’d meet up again. He could’ve come back sooner, he just.... hadn’t yet.
Jerking his chin forward once, Hamlet then squeaked and disappeared down his leg and disappeared for the normal route to take it inside the house. A few minutes later Nezumi saw it scuttle in the room again on the other side of the sliding door, and up on the raised platform that housed Sion’s bed. The rat would no doubt get his attention and hand over the note. It’d read this:
The balcony window isn't open, I'm a little insulted. And you’re not out here having a good scream.
