this is a specific type of family portrait, an al'luimaxa photo, the specialest boy himself plus the father and other children she left behind. Since Levis remarried his new wife and kids get to be included since they are the same family but they get obvious supporting roles.

usually the al'luimaxa naturally will be the smallest, innately being the youngest and all. however hydrel was already like six feet tall at this point. They made him sit down when he was 15. The boxes they're standing on should get a TH profile because they're saving my ass here.

eldest child holds the sigil, this doesnt mean much beyond its just a religious thing and all.

this wasnt a great time or particular day. Bellan had been crying so much and between that and having to wear the Special Robe for the Special Boy and getting his photo taken and being told how to pose and hold himself prefect. Levis put his hand on him to help keep him calm. It didnt help. He doesn't like being touched. You know that dad.
