if mc is female or fem presenting nonb. mr. nishimura will show interest. if mc is male or male presenting nonb. ms. harada will show interest.
no, they are not locked. flirting or even romantically aligning yourself with mr nishimura or ms harada ( as the same sex or gender identity ) will be looked at as friendship points; until a specific event in the book that leads either teacher to the realization that this close friendship of theirs isn't friendship at all 🙂.
like i said; romance isn't the main focus, so after this event, you'll see the ros act towards the mc like one would a crush, or someone they wish to romantically pursue, but it won't be made official ( in terms of dating ).
Houkago! Year 1, if i have the will afterwards, will extend into a second book; Houkago! Year 2, with a whole new cast of characters; and its still undecided if i want the mc ( teacher ) to be the main focus, or if i want the readers to experience their mcs craziness as a student for y2 .. but either way, y1 mcs will move onto y2 with a new roster of teachers to get to know.
I have my first exam tomorrow and I definitely don’t feel like I’m as prepared as I could be... At least its a resit so worst case scenario I can take last year’s grade if its higher...
