Yeen Fact #666: Bone Room
Yeen Fact #666: "In Saudi Arabia's Umm Jirsan lava-tube system, archaeologists found a vast "bone room" filled with hundreds of thousands of animal remains (plus some human bones). The culprit? Striped Hyenas, dragging in and chewing on them for at least 6000-7000 years (A den reused and added to for millennia). Hyena tooth-marks, coprolites, and even hyena skeletons in the deposit confirm who did the housekeeping."
This has been another fun Hyena Fact.
