Note: This one was made coherent by the efforts of magnetklaue, whose professional language software pointed out some really embarassing mistakes in my first draft. (Although we also found that it still very much needs a human touch, and someone who can tell a bandname from a restroom for women...)
Q1: When did you meet hide for the first time?
A: Must have been during the recording of a music video with X. Because X’s car stopped immediately, we were told, Follow us!, so we followed them in the LADIESROOM-car. Ah, wrong! They let us follow, right? Really, we stopped many times, we started the engine many times… hide-san, he later said, At that time I thought this guy would turn into a car dealer.
[Note: I have zero context for this, and so could only guess my way through it. It also doesn't help that the direct quotes aren't marked in any way.]
Q2: Please tell us what kind of impression you had at the time.
A: Nooo. Isn’t his outward impression like that! Isn’t it gaudy and scary! I don’t know, it was difficult to get close to him, but – he was a super great guy! Because the other members were only saying selfish shit, right? He paid attention to the needs of other people. I wondered if he was an angel.
Q3: Please tell us of an episode with hide that left an impression on you.
A: There was some antique furniture in hide-san’s house. He, right, he gave me a bit of an explanation, but since I had no interest in stuff like that at all… Still, I remember that well!
Q4: What kind of person was hide to you?
A: What to say… The entire band is indebted to him for many things. I can’t thank our Sempai enough!
Q5: If you ever saw him live, please tell us of your impression.
A: No matter whether in a small venue or at the dome, he always created a unique world! He was great with small details… A great artist!
Q6: Out of hide’s songs, which is your favorite and why?
A: Although I also love “Sadistic Desire”… In any case, “Pink Spider”! Great stuff.
