Idk about fics bc I have a lot on my plate at the moment and wouldn't be able to fully commit to it. However, I DO have hcs for this one throuple

Hyacinthus and Percy (Perse which is the nick name or Persira this time) met when he got sent to court her style 'Helen of troy having to pick amongs all of her suitors'

He went there just expecting to fill up space so people could say 'Oh yeah, the Prince of Sparta was there, guess he's looking for a bride instead of bewitching his brother's wives with his looks', but he didn't expect to fall in love

It wasn't love at first sight, which you'd expect from these two hotties meeting for the first time. What they had were crushes that blossomed into interest and became love when they got to know each other better.

Perse had a good opinion of Hyacinthus bc her half-brothers (Poseidon's other kids who went to camp half-blood with him) liked him. Hyacinthus had a good opinion on Perse bc she talked to him like a normal human being instead of focusing on his beauty.

Speaking of beauty, they both think the other is the more attractive one in the relationship. Hyacinthus argues that Perse looks like she could be purely divine (he wouldn't say she's as beautiful as a goddess bc they're mortals in ancient Greece and are not about to try their luck). While Perse thinks he easily wins against her due to how kind and approachable his face is compared to hers.

Introverted couple

Perse won herself a reputation of being violently jealous bc she WILL stab a bitch who tries smth with her man (And don't complain to her father bc Poseidon has a 'boys will be boys' energy he directs to his only daughter bc that's his little girl and he's so proud of her)

Hyacinthus looks chiller, but he is the jealous type and as a Son of Clio and grandson of Mnemosyne he has great memory and the hability to hold a grudge that rivals a child of Hades.

They both run cold.

Enter Apollo

He fell for them at first sight when the mortal couple was playing on a lake during a hot day.

He was driving the sun chariot, saw Hyacinthus sitting on the lakeside thought 'damn' was going to chat up the pretty boy when Percy emerged from where she was swimming underwater and started kissing her husband.

He lowkey thought he was going to a the most beautiful nymph he'd ever seen drown the prettiest boy he had seen.

Bro was conflicted, but no murder happened.

The couple eventually left the water and went on their marry way back to the palace with Apollo stalking them

After Apollo found out that the pretty boy was Hyacinthus, son of Clio, and the beautiful girl was Perse, daughter of Poseidon, he felt betrayed bc how come that one of his muses/sisters and favorite uncle had such beautiful offspring and NO ONE told him about it????

He started stalking the couple from afar as his love obsession grew bigger and bigger.

At some point, against the advice of both Artemis and Hermes, he approached the couple in one of their outings.

It wasn't exacty welcome, and Apollo is very lucky that he's shameless bc it helped him specify that he wanted them BOTH, package deal, not one without the other, he wanted to be the godly meat in that demigod sandwich.

Both Hyacinthus and Perse got extremely embarrassed over how he worded things bwt

He's the extrovert in the relationship.

Likes to paint his beloveds together, and when he paints the separately, he has the other one perched on his lap

Most annoying mf ever, he bagged the biggest beauties in all of Greece and he couldn't be happier.

He runs hot, so he sleeps in the middle of those two icecubes in the form of demigods

Very much the jealous type, will raze cities to the ground, spread plagues, commit all the atrocities possible if anyone tries anything with his lovers.

also couldn't get Hyaperpollo out of my head either. which again is weird because i have said before that I've never really been a fan of polyships like ever. I'm suuuuch a monogamous possessive alpha caveman romance reader usually, but i guess every rule has an acceptation and i guess you are mine. so here is a drabble i head in my head that i am now infecting you with as a gift. here you go,

Apollo Pines Like a Loser

The fields of Laconia stretched golden under the afternoon sun. The prince Hyacinthus trained with spear and discus, sweat clinging to his curls while his wife, Percy, daughter of Poseidon, sat nearby with a blade across her lap, sharpening its edge with quiet patience. The light caught on her sea-glass eyes, reflecting Apollo’s own brilliance back at him.

He was not subtle about his presence. How could he be? The sun itself bent to his moods. Wherever he went, mortals squinted. Flowers opened for him. His radiance announced him like a trumpet.

And yet... neither of them so much as looked his way.

The god of the sun, music, poetry, and like twelve other glorious things, reduced to standing in the shade of an olive tree, watching like some love-struck shepherd boy.

“Oh blessed Fates,” Apollo muttered, pressing a hand to his forehead like a man stricken with fever. “Why are they so… so…”

“Hot?” offered Hermes, leaning against the tree trunk, munching on stolen figs.

Apollo flinched. “Do not put it so crudely.”

Hermes grinned. “You’re drooling, brother.”

“I am not.” Apollo wiped at his chin, just in case. “They are beautiful beyond mortal ken. He, with his Spartan grace, every muscle honed by war. She, with the wildness of the sea in her stare. They shine! They burn! Together they are—”

“Married.” Hermes said it with the same flatness one uses to announce rain.

Apollo glared. “A minor obstacle.”

Hermes nearly choked on his fig. “Minor? That’s Poseidon’s kid, and Zeus’ grandson. You’re about to start the first war in history over a threesome.”

Apollo spread his hands, golden and trembling. “If you had beheld what I beheld, you too would scheme to join their union. Is it a crime to want… both halves of perfection?”

Hermes stuffed another fig in his mouth. “Yes. Yes, it is.”

Apollo ignored him. He was too busy imagining what it might be like to lie between them. Two mortals radiant enough to rival the gods. His poetry was already composing itself:

“The flower and the wave entwined, And I, the sun, embraced by both—”

Hermes groaned. “Oh no. He’s already writing sonnets. This won’t end well.”

Apollo clasped his hands, eyes bright with the fever of a man who has never been told no. “Tomorrow, I begin my campaign.” "Oh brother." Hermes groaned "The sandwich is real. you just need to believe..." Apollo whispered ominously

Hermes can see the appeal, but he also can see how much of a bad idea it is and sadly he has to be the voice of reason this time since his brother loses his head when in love...maybe literally this time if you take into consideration how sharp the Princess' sword looks.

I really like this idea, and I like how Apollo will go down in history as the grediest god there is (bc he bagged a couple composed of the prettiest boy and the prettiest girl in Ancient Greece) and had the most justified crashout when the two of them died tragically young.

Or, if we're going on a happy ending route, he became the god who granted godhood to the couple he was banging and he's very obnoxious about it. He can be found at parties on Olympus having his lap occupied by two dark-haired beauties and everyone lowkey hates him for that.

I can clearly imagine him dropping in all conversations that he's the specialest little unicorm/couple's dinner in Ancient Greece bc he pulled BOTH the pince and princess of Sparta (who were separetely elected as the prettiest boy and prettiest girl in the land by popular vote)

Like, Apollo was not the first or last person who dreamed of being the meat in that hottie sandwich, but HE'S the one who managed to make his dreams come true so, in his masterful opinion, he's better than everyone.

In case anyone needs context, this is the continuation of a few Hyaperpollo hcs I shared a few months ago

Hyacinthus and Perse (maybe Persira) are happily married to each other after they were part of the spiritual ancestor of 'Helen of Troy picking amongst her suitors'.

Fyi, Sparta became known as the 'Brings a gun to a knife fight' kingdom bc they sent their prettiest fucking prince to court Perse when everyone else was...not as pretty

They're both the hottest and happiest mortal couple in ancient Greece and it shows 😔

Anyway, like I've said in previous hcs, they both cold af

So, when Apollo joined the relationship in the most desperate display of someone wanting to be a third in a relationship, the difference between them was VERY obvious

Both Hyacinthus and thought Apollo was 'overly warm' bc he's a god while bro thinks his lovers must have poor circulation throughout their entire bodies bc why tf are such hotties so cold????

Apollo sleeps in the middle, some could say that it was bc he was the god in the relationship and having the prettiest man and prettiest girl in each arm is an ego thing, but they decided on that so everyone could get equal amounts of godly heat

Hyacinthus and Percy weren't fighting over It...in traditional ways. They'd just let the other have it bc they both the best for their husband/wife, but Apollo just said 'I can just sleep in the middle????' and they though 'Oh, shit, that's true'

Apollo no longer has or wants his personal space because he always has a dark-haired beauty drapped all over him.

Imagine Apollo just chilling as he composes something when suddenly one of his lovers climbs onto his lap, and now there's another one coming to join the cuddle pile.
