Another year, another new start.  Despite his status as lone wolf, Samuel was still more or less at the Marrok's beck and call. And when Bran had lost contact with the Alpha of New Orleans, Samuel had started the process of getting his medical license approved in Louisiana. An arduous process that had required an obscene amount of paperwork, but it had been done, and Samuel was about to finish up his last shift as a clerk at a local shop in favor of a position at one of the city's hospitals.

But he was getting ahead of himself. He did, after all, still need to finish out his last shift.  A fact which he was reminded of as the door opened, the attached bell chirping out a merry little jingle.  Plastering a mild, polite smile on his features, the wolf looked to the door.  

"Hey,” he greeted pleasantly, “ how can I help you today? “
