Oh dear husband...
"You're down a hybrid. He pissed me off. I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm really not."
Drowning in you
Stefan’s throat burned with the taste of this random brunette’s blood. It was tarter than a usual blood line, tainted with with the buzz of alcohol. His teeth grazed her shoulder as he pulled away, feeling crazed. The fluorescent lights of the handicap bathroom drained the color out of the room, casting a dull glow on the stiffening body in his hands. She gave a small squirm, a whimper; he considered compelling away the fear, but why bother. She was gonna be dead soon away.
Teeth sank into her neck once again, sloshing the fluid in his mouth before pulling away and swigging the Jack Daniels in his free hand. To clear out his throat before he drained her completely. Her body was going limp in his arms, heart beat slowing and skipping beats. She’d stopped twitching, gave up on squeaking for help.
The noises in the bar outside drowned out any sound they had been making anyway. Ignorant drunks downing beer after beer, laughing at jokes that weren’t funny. And there he was, killing someone’s child, someone’s friend. A Melanie.
