Bestway Retail, under the leadership of Director Jamie Davison, is redefining convenience retail with its innovative "store within a store" hybrid model. This concept combines different symbol groups—such as Cost cutter, Best-One, Bargain Booze, and Wine Rack—to tailor offerings to local customer demographics. The first Cost cutter-Bargain Booze hybrid, launched by retailer Peter Patel in Meopham, Kent, reported a 166% increase in alcohol sales post-rebranding. Davison asserts that these dual stores, some boosting sales by up to 220%, represent the future of convenience retail, enabling retailers to thrive in a competitive market.
