We will never disappear and every time you try we will come back stronger
It is time for pride month. And for me and many other us citizens its a terrifying time. We are being targetted by our government and so many more citizens who see us wrongly as a danger.
Id like to share a bit about myself. I am ftm, i came out when i was about 22 to 23 years old. I didnt even tell my mother because my first experience with meeting a trans person was actually my younger sibling.
I am no contact with my family now, so i will not go into details. But what im saying also is. Im a 28 man, i dont care if im not on hormones i dont even care if you keep calling me she. I know who i am and i will not apologize for existing. I work, i pay taxes, i struggle with mental health.
Pride month was originally started by protests. And with whats been going on in texas, i hope this month is filled with hope for you. Hope and justice as there is nothing wrong with you, nothing unnatural. All bodies are unique, just as are people. I will do what i can this month to celebrate and support my fellow lgbtq.
