Loreal Youth Code - My Current Day Cream
Today I thought I would do a quick post on my new favourite day cream. I have been using Loreal Youth Code day cream for a while now and am absolutely loving it! When I first purchased the cream I did enjoy using it but after I started using the Chanel Hydramax nourishing cream I kind of forgot about it.
If you refer back to my previous post where I review the Chanel Hydramax cream (click me) you will see that I was using the cream both morning and night until I noticed my skin was getting too oily. I then said how I just started to use a serum in the mornings instead of a cream on top of it. Since the weather here in England has been changing from hot to cold every other day, my skin has really suffered and has started to produce some dry spots. This is the reason I went back to using Youth Code and I have now fell back in love!
To be honest with you all, it makes my skin feel as great as the Chanel Hydramax nourishing cream! This is amazing considering the great price difference between both products. I do highly recommend the Chanel skin care line though. Especially Hydramax if you suffer from severely dry skin. On the other hand, if you are looking for a cream that closely compares to Chanel but for a lot less money then definitely give Loreal Youth Code a go!

Make Up Revisited
I would like to re-discuss the Chanel Hydramax tinted moisturizer. While the formula on this one is absolutely fantastic, I have found that I have a complaint that is too great not to share; for it will prevent me from buying this product, possibly ever again. The problem I have discovered is the packaging. This. Infernal. Packaging. It does not allow one to use all of the product! Excuse me? Yes you heard that right. At $65 a tube, I will find a way to use every damn drop. And so I have. I have cut off the top of the tube and now stick a make up brush in from the top when I want to use my tinted moisturizer. Now, allow me to suggest, that part of the fun of a product like this, while a very good quality and very useful, is also the glamourous packaging? not so glamourous now though.
And so in my closing remarks, I would like to petition Chanel, please please contact someone to show you how to produce a make up tube that will allow me to use all of the make up? Thank you.
