The asset was wakened again like clockwork. It heard the hiss of the pod as it depressurized, and clean air rushed into it's lungs. It opened it's eyes, and peered at the terrified face of a scientist. A short, stout looking German man with rounded glasses, and greying hair combed over. The asset hadn't seen them before. But as it started to gain back the mobility in it's arms and legs, the scientist retrieved a small book from his bag. It was haphazardly stuffed with papers, diagrams and vials of liquid. He was running from something. Escaping something terrifying. As he spoke the familiar words, the asset felt it's head begin to surge with pain. Every nerve set ablaze, and it's ears ringing painfully.

After mere moments, the Asset was activated. Eyes dull, and it's stare hollow as that of the dead.

" Готовность к соблюдению требований." The asset's voice was muffled slightly by the mask, but the reply was confirmation.

The squat scientist, adjusted his glasses before stuffing the book back into his satchel, and getting behind the asset. "You are going to get me out of here! Kill anything that tries to stop us!" he barked.

And the Asset did as ordered. Walking ahead of the man, and scanning the halls ahead of them. Eyes glinting in the eerie red emergency lights. Ready to defend it's handler the second a target came into line of sight.

something a little different... some set design for the very first setting of sanctuary. namely the capital of the kingdom of jormun and the surrounding tundra when it's not under tens of feet of snow.

not much plant or animal life can thrive out here, aside from the cold resistant algae blooms and the similarly derived ground cover. obviously the perfect place to build a glorified mega mall city in the 2 months tops where everything isn't freezing to death. (the kingdom is has hundreds of worker fatalities on their hands for this little maneuver)

making some sanctuary fullbodies for future neocities use ^_^ they are properly clothed other than refsheet decency underwear now...

little worldbuilding snippet about some of the common local foods in zeal's as of yet unnamed hometown + some bonus siren/depthling culinary lore.

fun fact: unlike humans, sirens are mesocarnivores! most of their early agriculture was much more robustly built around herding livestock than it was large-scale horticulture, and many households still keep their own personal meat flocks of smaller livestock. (zeal included!)
