i think whales are cool, what do you do for your job? :O

well i have the privilege of getting to stare at them a whole bunch

but in seriousness—i'm currently an intern on a whale watch boat, and am slated to be a proper hire soon!

my more interesting responsibilities include observing the whales, logging data of their location and behavior, photographing them for identification purposes, educating passengers and answering questions, etc!

my less interesting responsibilities include, like, wiping tables, and vacuuming, and handling ropes during departure and docking, and most excitingly of all being the captain's personal windshield wiper when it rains
