once close enough to lower his volume, he juts a thumb toward the bumbling detectives, "i'd trust these guys about as far as i could throw 'em," (which might be pretty far, actually, but they'd cuff him long before he can test that theory). "looks like you're fresh out of luck, though. that's gotta sting after VIP treatment back home."
