The PLE wetlanders headed out to Hartstown Swamp this morning to apply their extensive knowledge of hydrology, hydric soils, and hydrophytic vegetation. We ran transects from the swamp, through areas dominated by spicebush and skunk cabbage, ending in red pine dominated upland.
