HERE HAVE ANOTHER ➵
[ MEME ; bolded ]
I would hurt you or use you. | you unsettle me. | I dislike you or you annoy me. | I would like to get to know you better. | I pity you. | you confuse me. | I feel indifferent towards you. | I would be friends with you. | I would fight by your side. | I would hug you or hold your hand. | I would kiss you. | I would sleep with you.(or more like wants to see her get laid) | I would lie for you. | I would protect you. | I would fall in love with you. | I would kill for you | I respect you. | you are my family. | I don’t know you.

Breaks were a luxury he rarely bothered with, more so with Saturdays being busiest in Itaewon and working the floor – third consecutive week, he’s starting to think Seunghae’s punishing him for some deed he can’t remember executing or someone let manager tight-ass assign positions because fuck this all. Suppose one positive side would be he’s not on stage tonight but even that’d yield more interesting time for him personally. Whatever, four more hours to go. After his break.
The air outside in the alley wasn’t much more cooling than the heat packed inside, but it was less stifling at the least, a little less distracting as he continued scrolling through updates and replied to few texts, surprised minutes later when a familiar name he certainly hadn’t expected to hear anything from tonight flashed on screen, curious grin breaking free.
“Hi! No I’m not up for phone sex right now try again tomorrow.”

She blinked. “How did you not know?” The question came out before she had all the information, but afterwards she nodded in understanding, trying to put all the information together in a comprehensible mass. “Me? Uh…I don’t know. The internet says I’m a psychic. So did the shaman my mother invites over,” she explained, recalling that she usually stayed away from the shaman woman, never having liked her that much. Besides, inviting a shaman over was something an elite family wanted to hide. It definitely was not something Hye Rim was allowed to let out of the bag but there she was, blabbing it out to a complete stranger. Not like he knows who my family is, she comforted herself.
“Well-” he shrugged a bit, absently fiddling with the hem of his shirt. “I was raised in a place that had no idea of magic. They just thought I was a demon or a freak or something, so I assumed they were right... Until someone told me otherwise,” he explained, smiling. “Like the shaman dude did for you! I didn’t have any access to internet or anything like that, so it’s not like I could have looked it up!” Of course he thought nothing of her saying a shaman had visited; he’d heard so many stories of people’s lives, everything seemed pretty normal to him now.

The swimming & diving class was always fun, simply because it didn’t need boring lectures and notes and tests and all the other bullshit, and it was stress free of any sort of pressure over grades and projects which he’s been quite closely acquainted with upon enrolment. Plus a good way to put on some exercise he didn’t necessarily need, but preferred to take on often just for the act of it. And maybe because it was one way to make himself feel warm, not minding to sweat in the slightest when engaging in strenuous sort of sports, but it was similarly great to feel refreshed in different manner with water.
The best part may have been seeing half naked swim-suited participants but what they didn’t know wouldn’t hurt any of them. Well, not like he was all that subtle but no one had outright come up to him to voice complaint yet. New students as he’s come to understand were not rarity in itself, but longevity of studies differed apparently, or people were eager to drop out when they found the school wasn’t for them, or some shit came up whatever, but landing one in any of his classes was a treat certainly. Denìtr had not taken up welcoming personally anyone as he’s really never sure who’s new or not, and it wasn’t something he cared for anyway, despite approaching others with even less of reason at times.
But he’d already noted this girl as new presence during English earlier today, and as the rest of students climbed out of the pool at the end of the hour he couldn’t simply ignore the other as it seemed they had same idea with staying longer yet, him to do few more laps and she... for whatever reason. Assumed motive to fall in similar realm. Gave him and idea though.
“Hey, new cutie girl.” Leisurely swimming towards her with an amiable, though daring smile, “If your plan wasn’t to stay behind to watch me, how’d you feel about a little race?”
