I set out to explore the wide wide world
I was not in search for riches or for fame
I wanted to know for myself if the world was good
I found that my temperament had changed
I no long felt as though I was tame
I became a feral child again as I played in the creek
I hadn't set out to find riches, but riches I have found
For you see, I discovered that I was not the same

Once I had doubts that I was good
I thought the sparkle had been stripped away
I remembered days where I felt more alive
I longed to return to that time before my light was gone
So I ventured into the forests, the meadows, wild berry patches
My hands were stained with fresh juice, earth's sweetest nectar
I ate of the earth, and she ate of me
I found the place I had longed for, my ribcage filled with honey
My eyes reflected the sun and moon and I found that
There was still good in the world, and thus good inside of me
