Nutritional Deficiency
Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is not getting enough nutrients such as vitamins and minerals. To be healthy our body needs enough nutrients.
According to the Food and Agriculture Organization report on State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World, it is estimated that 190.7 million (14.5) people were undernourished in India from 2014-to 2016.
According to the the the report, the most common nutritional deficiencies that Indian adults grapple with are due to inadequate consumption of proteins, vitamin D, iron, vitamin B12,,, and folate.
