Hester's re-shelving books inside the shop, when a red notecard flutters out between the pages of a thick book on vulcanology with tons of photographs and diagrams. It lands at her feet and has some sort of writing on it in gold ink.
Hester squinted at the notecard. Well- it had fallen out of a book, and the Stacks had communicated with her through cards before. Very, very carefully, she squatted down and picked it up to read it.
Why. Why is this my life.
I just wanted to run a cute little rp fanblog. That’s all I wanted to do. I’m currently trying to circumvent a paywall to read a scientific paper on furries. I am scientifically researching furries for a stupid rp blog because I make bad decisions and all of you are awful. The entire Animorphs fandom is awful for letting this happen. How did I get cornered like this. This is one million per cent my fault and I refuse to accept any of it.
Why is this my life.
Fun note: the journal wants to charge me $116US for this article and I have never been so relieved to see a paywall because if I can’t circumvent it then I don’t have to read this and can pretend this whole thing isn’t happening.
