Here’s how vulnerable gold and silver fossil rocks are...
On a whim, I decided to test what would happen if I struck the centre of a miraculous fossil rock with the hyper hammer. It didn’t break completely, but the fossil, the rock above previously unmolested, was almost completely exposed. Bright purple. It survived, but if the bar above was any indication, it’d taken about 40 points of damage. It’d be interesting to repeat the experiment after cleaning the surface of the rock down to the lowest layer, or simply by striking a silver arm or leg fossil (considering the substantially reduced surface area). Or doing both.
Moral of the story? You only use one tool on wondrous and miraculous fossils, and it’s the drill. Anything else, and you’ll be prayin’.
