So i was literally taking notes while watching the new first epidodes because like aaaa all the little moments!!!

So like, very much spoilers, but overjoyed ramblings under the cut because i love all these characters and the setting and aaaaa!!! Deadlands!!!!!!

• I was already pausing to look at the character art, but the character page with the full art and everything?? Definitely reading all the stuff on there too

• And the first one to come up is Delacy!! Little guyyyyyyy

• I love him

• Edie - "do you think we should go in there and help them or..." lolll mood

• How do they even keep control of Nate and Delacy honestly

• "What are you two doing??" What we're doing is winning!" Goddd they're really just back in character immediately huh

• Yesss Nate gets to use his cool ass hanging judge revolver!! Of course it doesn't work quite yet though, maybe it just takes some getting used to loll

• "I can guarantee it's not the same sasquach" oh can you now? I mean come on, you are also currently friends with a guy that literally died in front of you-

• "Surprised they found enough of it to put it back together-"

• The whole thing with Nate being a trouble magnet, and standing next to the sasquatch, this is the opposite of don't be a Dob

• God that escalated quickly, oil lanterns really are the most dangerous thing in the weird west

• And they're in a flammable canvas tent!! Surely this can't go well

• "What's the damage on being massively on fire?" Lollllllllll

• Ohhhhhh it's a Monkey Island reference!! Gotta love it, that character is so silly

• Awwww Delacy spending all his bennys to try and show off even though he would have hit anyway

• And he wants to help teach them to shoot!! Pleaseee, give us that as a montage and let everyone improve their shooting dice, that would be so cool (and if not, still a great fic idea that I'll be surprised if no-one writes-)

• It's currently taken me like an hour to get through 28 mins of video so far

• Yesssss and for that he gets to be the one to actually kill it, good on you buddy

• Oh my god are they gonna make the oil fire mistake again.....yep yep they did, oh my god

• Almost there, Edie was initially looking for something to smother it and not water

• Ellen immediately apologising for puns, just can't stop herself can she lol, honestly mood

• Edie and Delacyyyyyyy

• His face after being told off for swearing lollll

• All this that I've noticed already, and that's just while they were talking around combat

• Now the real fun begins

• I love how Nate either will not stop rambling or basically converses with single word responses, no in-between lollll

• Wow okay how do i even with that whole boat shooting thing loll

• "Reevaluating my life choices" yeah that's fair

• Can't believe he literally got grabbed by the dungaree strap, Edie knows what's up

• Honestly every interaction between Delacy and Edie or Delacy and Nate is just so :)

• Beacon Joe existing and making Andy do the puns for once-

• Ohhhh Delacy "I'm imagining other ways the earlier conversation could have gone" ohhhhhh buddy-

• "The alligator became the joker"

• Woah woah woah okay that ending aaaaaa-

• The reveal, the threatening by Delacy, how absolutely devastated Nate was....

• Top quality acting, but owwwww my heart, i almost cried-

• "If it was going to be anyone, i would rather it be you" Nateeeeee you can't just say thattt, you have literally ripped my heart out how dare you

• And yep, there's the hook, there's the quest, nice job Andy

• God I'm so excited for next time :)))

Things I wish we could've seen

Chiro playing with his powers.

not, being irresponsible, but just using that power and really tapping into it. Let him feel that strength, show how he can manipulate and control that wild, electric energy coursing through him like no big deal.

We were robbed of more Sparx and Chiro training scenes, because frankly, THIS KIDS POWER SET MATCHES A LITTLE TOO WELL to not have that.

Moments where the team, realize he's got too much energy and it's not necessarily a bad thing, but overkill is a thing and maybe unleashing wave after wave of electricity to make a horde of Formless explode, isn't exactly good for him.

Let that boy learn how to float. We see it exactly once.

Let him float

Let him have FUN with his abilities without it being seen as being irresponsible, let him see he can be playful and still effective on the battlefield. Let him be a kid!

What is in these orb rooms?

It's a mystery.

One episode, it could be Gibson's lab.

And the other the Neutron generator core.

One episode it's the Sick Bay.

The other, there is no sick bay, they are just...

... LAYING THERE. With the gurney's as far away from the wall of course...

(And for some reason an IV in the head. I never noticed that as a kid. I mean it makes sense, but STILL.)

Other episodes, it's the lab again.

Other episodes it's the generator room.

What room is it today? You'll never know.

But seriously.

WHY DID THEY DO THIS?

(Look, I've hated this thing with the gurneys since I was a kid and seeing THIS and Yu-Gi-Oh's weird thing with beds being in the middle of really large rooms instead of against a wall, has legit been an endless source of mild irritation.)
