A former Flotus, Hillary Clinton hyper-criminalized Black students and youths by using the term “super predator”. Her language represented hyper-criminalization because it is viewed as a racist and offensive language among the blacks (Gearan and Phillip, 2016). Using that term is still relevant today as it was in 1996.
The U.S is made up of a majority of white people, hence the white superiority and white privilege. While the rest of us Blacks and other people of color make up the other percentages. However, the percentages are so small that we are minorities compared to the white population. Do to this, white people have brain washed themselves into thinking minorities are “bad” especially Blacks because our ancestors were slaves under their ancestors rule. Now mind that that form of slavery has ended, but a new form of slavery has taken place and it is contributed to hyper-criminalization of Black bodies.
