I've officially been hyperfixated on The Boys for one whole month! let us recap on what I've done to feed the hyperfixation

— made a pinterest board + five sections of each individual member

— memorized just about every lyric of their song 'sick' except for half of Eddie's verse because I dont know spanish

— pulled an all-nighter watching their videos

— binge watched all their paranormal/abandoned building content

— found Juicy's old band's soundcloud and began listening to their music

— made bracelets with each of their names

Also

— acquired at least five vocal stims from the shit that Juicy says

— and cried over Eddie becoming a dad

I don't know how long this hyperfixation will last but I really don't want it to go away, I'm really happy with this one. I've laughed more this month than I think I have in a while. that's insane.

a bit unrelated to anything but sometimes I worry that people will follow me for one thing cus I post a lot about it and then suddenly when I switch hyperfixations they'll unfollow. and like I know I can't stop them and I don't mean to its just that I don't want them to get the wrong idea about my blog. cus I talk about everything I like here not just one single thing

2025 Hyperfixation Timeline

A little timeline of hyperfixations that I've had this year, just to keep track of them, when I had them and when I didn't.

Note: These are just the big ones, minus some mini hyperfixations I considered intense ones so I added them.

Note #2: This is also a maybe repost, or at least a remake, because Tumblr lost the original I created and I had to do it all again. but if there's another 2025 hyperfixation timeline post that I can't see... man I swear.

1. Yeptheboys

My first hyperfixation of the year! This lasted from the first of January to the fourteenth of February. For my posts relating to Yeptheboys, go to the #yeptheboys tag at the bottom of this post.

2. Twilight

My second hyperfixation of the year! This lasted from the fourteenth of February to the sixteenth of March. For my posts relating to Twilight, go to the #twilight in tag at the bottom of this post.

3. Harry Potter & Fantastic Beasts

My third hyperfixation of the year! This lasted from the sixteenth of March to the sixth of April. I did not post much about it, but to see what I did post, go to the #harry potter tag at the bottom of this post. For future posts relating to Fantastic beasts, go to the #fantastic beasts tag.

Non-Hyperfixated/Floating (The In-Between)

Around early April I lost interest in many things and took a break from my blog, having several mini hyperfixations that I didn't post about. This lasted from the seventh of April to the fourteenth of May.

4. Percy Jackson

My fourth hyperfixation of the year! This lasted from the fourteenth of May to the fourth of August. This marks my longest, and most intense hyperfixation of the year. However I did not post about it as I was still taking my break from Tumblr. But for future posts relating to Percy Jackson, go to the #percy jackson tag at the bottom of this post.

5. Stranger Things

My fifth hyperfixation of the year! (After another short floating stage and mini The Maze Runner hyperfixation) This was a small one, but I posted about it so I'm going to include it. 6. The Hobbit & LOTR

My sixth hyperfixation of the year! This lasted from the twenty-seventh of August to the nineteenth of September. For my posts relating to The Hobbit and LOTR, go to the #the hobbit and #lotr tags at the bottom of this post.

7. October's Stuff

After a short floating stage a repeated interests (yeptheboys, twilight), I did a Halloween movie marathon in October and had a few hyperfixations all at one time. Scream from October 2nd to October 15th, 13 Reasons Why from October 3rd to October 7th, and Rory Culkin's films which lasted from October 16th to November 9th. 8. FRIENDS

After another repeated interest (Harry Potter from November 5th to November 15th), I began watching a new show. This lasted from November 18th to November 26th. For future posts relating to Friends, go to the #friends tag at the bottom of this post.

10. Epic

I just realized that I've never received an ask on here before. and I know I'm not like an author or whatever so I don't take requests for anything but like. NEW HYPERFIXATION GUYS

BUT OH I LIKE IT A LOT

i see twilight as a comedy first and romance second. the first movie is so bad its laughable and new moon is probably my favorite (other than the first) because of all the drama eclipse is probably my least favorite but i did enjoy hearing jasper's backstory as well as rosalie's and breaking dawn to me i kinda see it as fanfiction but i enjoy it

i have been hyperfixated on this since the 14th/valentine's day but i haven't posted about it because i've been worried nobody will like it or maybe make fun of me bc its so cringe 😔 but trust me real twilight fans are in love w anyone who isnt bellla, edward or jacob and make fun of twilight

so to all my followers who enjoy seeing me talk about the boys, it will not be the end tho it will not be as often anymore. i still adore yeptheboys will all my heart and will continue to watch their content 🫶🏻 i am just hyperfixated on twilight now!! ♡

i'm still hyperfixated on the boys though i have been getting into something else lately! its called The Haunting of Bly Manor. i believe its by the same guy who made The Haunting of Hill House? and he also made the first real horror movie i ever watched, Before I Wake!

it's actually a really good show, i find myself actually spooked at times. which is really hard for me as a horror fan to actually get spooked at horror movies and stuff. so if you catch me holding onto something while staring at a tv screen, just assume whatever im watching is good lol.

i like the way they have a story for every character. owen has his story with his mom, hannah has her own story with sam and how she came to live at bly, theres a story with rebecca and peter rather than just calling her "the old au pair" and accusing him of all these things. there's actual backstory behind all of it and i love the way they tell it through these flashbacks. it adds so much more depth to the characters and i remember seeing a bit of hannah in episode 5 and i thought, "i love her so much and I want her to always be okay." that is the power of great storytelling my friends.
