Yeah, most rom hack developers have tunnel vision and fail to realize most people just don’t have their level of skill/familiarity with the game.

Yeah, pretty much. It’s been said before and it’ll be said again in the future, but it’s still weird to me.

Like, the reason I thought of it was because I was watching Vinny attempting to do the bomb-”jump” in LTTP Randomized, and watching some other people play without even getting the sword at first.

I mentioned Parallel Worlds, but way way back in high school I actually gave the hack a shot and thinking back to it now the difference is just so huge? Sure, getting a sword or having to bomb jump in a randomizer is one thing, but with how the game is designed you usually still have a lot of room to breathe or you might be able to go other places - Parallel Worlds throws you into an incredibly cramped dungeon with no sword for an hour and you have entire sections dedicated to bomb-jumping and it’s all whack
