I took this photo to show off HY15F4′s very cute split belly checkers, caused by her Masque gene. If you look carefully, though, you can see what a snake belly button looks like!
Barred Tiger Salamander (Ambystoma mavortium mavortium) by John Clare Via Flickr: Hypomelanistic larva nearing metamorphosis (7.5 inches / 18 cm long). You'd be forgiven for thinking this is an axolotl. November 9th 2013.
he looks even more handsome freshly shed, he glistens (he looks darker on camera than he does in person but he’s still gorgeous)
Here's Pris, hanging out in a small wood crate he uses as a hide/napping spot. After a nice hour or more outside in the sun to bask, we bring him back in to his cage, and he usually goes in for a snooze. Hubby lined the crate with repurposed mohair and shearling sheepskin. He is nearly two years old now and is an awesome, awesome scaly buddy. ❤❤❤ So glad I got him after Sheila died. @reptilesreptropolis, thanks again for the wonderful friend/pet! #howcanthatbecomfortable #beardeddragon #priscillaqueenofthedesert #hypomelanistic #naptime #pogonavitticeps https://www.instagram.com/p/Br80QmYFPMx/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=d1vqseywiu7w
