@hyrullee: ' the sword of destiny has two edges. '
Two edges. Two destinies intertwined akin to two sides of a blade. Ever connected. Life & death. Good & evil. Cause & effect. The hero & the villain, & their battles of legendary proportions, recorded throughout the history books from one generation to another. The hero & the princess, fated to stand at one another's side through the darkness. The calamity. Whose actions, like a timely swing of a sword, could come to affect their world as a whole.
" I know this… " Of the destiny beyond her. An inescapable fate who she was but a witness; a knight on the chess board; a means of support to push the goddesses chosen onwards toward their harrowing goal.
" Yet that does not mean I can not fret, nor wonder how it is you feel towards this destiny. "
A tender hand, mindful was it as it hovered over that of the wound that Mipha had offered to lend an aid in closing. A healer's touch, she had. Palm aglow with a light soothing & warm; emanating not but the softest heat, the gentlest caress whilst the energy of life flowed from one soul to another.
" The burden of fate… It may ever be upon your shoulders, but that does not mean your voice - your emotions should be silenced. " The champion mused. Golden eyes, fixated on the gash that slowly but surely had begun to knit itself together once more. Not quite meeting the hero's, for fear that the newfound courage to course through anxious veins would vanish with nary a trace. Like seafoam, washed aside with the morning tide. " You are allowed to have worries, & fears. I would never judge. "
Much had changed since their youth. The child she had once known, he was different. Older. Wiser. Stronger. ( Quieter, perhaps - or was it instead that the chance to converse about the future, of the war that loomed upon the horizon, had simply not arisen before now? ) No matter the time that passed, never would her concern for him & his well being dim. To have gained this one moment of solitude, to speak of that which dwelled on her mind, she would be remiss to allow the moment to pass by without a single attempt.
" Forgive me if I am speaking out of turn… but you are a dear friend, Link. If with no one else, you can be honest with me. "
