so splash was not written based on how i met my boyfriend, but it was written based on my experience of summer break where my boyfriend works as a lifeguard at the local pool and i sat there swooning over him for two months lol
that experience inspired me to write splash and, while not everything that happened in that fic happened with my boyfriend irl, i was trying to come up with something to write with this concept. i literally couldn’t get lifeguard!juyeon with his light brown hair with blond highlights from d.d.d. era out of my head i literally dreamed about him 🥵
thus splash was born!! so yes i feel the same way bc of juyeon being literally gorgeous but also bc it makes me think of my boyfriend when he was a lifeguard and i feel all blushy as well lol

DBDUDJSJSK ALICE, IM SO SORRY FOR MAKING YOU CRY 😭😭 that scene along with the jaemin kiss scene was what I wanted to write the most out of the entire fic, and it was literally like the third and fourth scenes that I wrote because I couldn’t wait any longer (the first and second scenes I wrote for this fic were the first two scenes at the party in the beginning which initially was gonna be it and it was gonna be a mini fic and the only reason I wrote it was to use the “rated é for everyone” line but then it snowballed rip) 💘 but anyway like the climax of a story is the most exciting and fun to write??? when everything goes down, that’s the best part to write imo 🤧💖 but of course, we need to have a backstory to make it make sense so then I have to begrudgingly write the rest of the fic afterwards 🙄 what’s your favorite part to write in the story? 💓 and have you been working on any new fics !! 🤩
